A neon-lit site for the family entertainment centre on Hunstanton Pier, where every part of the venue gets its own look.

The client
Hunstanton Pier is a family entertainment centre on the Norfolk seafront: an arcade with what it calls Norfolk’s largest Prize Shop, the Pier Casino, food and drink, and King Strikes, its bowling alley. This is the second website we have built for the pier.
The challenge
The brief was a site that feels like a night out on the pier: dark, bright and a little loud, with every department given its own character while still fitting together. And with the bowling alley about to close for a refurbishment, King Strikes had to look exciting before there were any photos of it.
- Neon throughout: a night-time view of the pier building, glowing neon swooshes and a neon-framed arcade.
- King Strikes with its own identity: red brick, paint splatter and an animated bowling lane that throws a strike, built to carry the alley through its refurbishment as “coming soon”.
- A page for every department: Arcade, King Strikes, Pier Casino (with its 18+ and BeGambleAware messaging), Food & Drink, History and FAQs.
- A hand-built WordPress theme: the pier’s team can update every page, photo and offer themselves, with opening hours and contact details managed in one place.
